BioMy name is Allison Barrett. I am a graduate student at Colorado State University. Jeffrey Snodgrass, the principal investigator for this project, and myself are conducting a research project on commodities, production, gender and culture among the American anime fans. I would like to talk with anime fans, and participate in the livejournal community.
If possible, I would like to conduct interviews and an audio recording. It is important for you to know that participation is voluntary. If at any time you wish to stop participating, you are under no obligation to continue. The information I gather will be
used for my master's thesis. The interviewing will take approximately an hour. I also have a survey that would take about 15 minutes to complete. There are no known risks in participating. Would you like to learn more about the project to participate?
